Q: Are you insured or bonded?

A: Yes we are, up to $2,000,000 so have no fear when we come in your home, you are protected!

Q: Your mounts are much cheaper than the other retail stores, the quality of your mounts must be much lesser right?

A: Absolutely NOT! We installed over 400 flat-panel TVs last year alone. We have used a ton of our mounts, but also we have installed every other brand out there including, Sanus, Peerless, Omnimount, and many more. The quality of our mounts meets the exact same specifications when mounting TVs as these other brands. We have never had a mount failure in our business' existance, and with full confidence we offer a lifetime warranty on mounts that WE INSTALL.

Q: Why does it cost $89 to hide all my wires?

A: The reason for this is because we have to physically add a power outlet at the height of where the TV will be installed. It is the ONLY way for someone to LEAGALY hide a high voltage power cable run. Other companies may just pull your power cord through the wall with the rest of the wiring but this is agains National Building Code regulations and could void your homeowners insurance.

Q: Can I put my flat-panel TV above a fireplace?

A: Yes you can!  Especially if there is a mantel present this acts as a sufficient barrier for heat, and feel free to use your fireplace as much as possible. 20% of our installs end up over fireplaces.

Q: Do you install surround sound systems?

A: Yes, we install everything from flat-panel TVs to complete media rooms for your home. Please give us a call with any extensive installation needs so we can come out for a free consultation.

Q: Do you need to come out to my house for an estimate?

A: No, we do hundreds of plasma installations every year and we have seen it all.  Our estimates are good 98% of the time.  If we get to the house and there is something we didn’t account for, you will be notified and given the opportunity to reconsider the installation.

Q: Can you install equipment I already have?

A: Yes we can however we cannot guarantee the compatibility of those components.  All of our cables and components are guaranteed by Plasma-Guy to be without defect and be compatible with one another.

Q: Can I use my own cables?

A: Yes you can.  We suggest you use the cables we can provide because we will have the correct lengths and in-wall rated cables to accommodate the installation.  Also we cannot guarantee the compatibility of the cables if we install your cables.  Our cables are guaranteed to work with your existing equipment.

Q: Can my TV fall of the wall?

A: If the TV is used in a manner as directed your TV should never come off the wall.  Plasma-Guy stands behind our installations.  To date we have never had a display come down from the wall.  We only install TV’s where they are supported sufficiently.

Q: Does Plasma-Guy sell TV’s?

A: Yes we do!  We can be your only stop for all your audio and video needs, not just TV’s.  Our prices commonly fall in line with the big box store’s sale prices.
